So then I will complete this idea for him: His opinions are garbage. His consistent delving into the worst of BYU players, fans, and the school show how biased he really is. He has done this for decades. I am done with him. I would never have read his drivel unless it wasn't linked here ...but I digress.

I don't know him personally so I will keep my opinion of him based solely on his "work".

Gordon Monson is a thin-skinned, devious, loathsome, and a horrible person - based on what opinions he writes. I don't know how he sleeps at night unless he has totally lost any humanity left within him for others who are clearly struggling with something. He has taken the lowest road whenever he can and doesn't seem to need anything but his omniscience to take him there. He is the worst among us and has found a home at the SL Trib - which should be telling.

Would this guy have a job if it weren't for the SL Trib? He might have thousands of Utah fans applauding him for his avant-garde takes on BYU and its players, but his opinions matter to few who also don't have an axe to grind against BYU. He gives voice to hundreds and maybe thousands who hold the bitterness of their hatred for BYU. Thus, crap like this doesn't have a place outside of Salt Lake because fortunately, no one freaking cares outside of that city. And any kind of real editor would use his tripe as toilette paper and flush it away with the rest of his mess.
