Ended up talking with the postmaster at our post office and he said if they run out of time and dont finish the route, all packages not delivered are given that designation. He did apologize and said it was not acceptable that our mail was not being delivered to our neighborhood and that he would fix it. And so far so good. Mail has come by 3 pm everyday since.
