the apps don't work. If you don't update the apps at least occasionally, they just stop working. Not all of them, but probably 90% of the ones my kids use. And these are just regular games, not apps that would need the Internet to function.

So that was pretty frustrating. Now we just make sure all the apps are updated the night before we leave. Still annoying, but at least it works.
