the three Big conferences get together to do collective bargaining to maximize dollars. The most money comes from 18-20 teams and two divisions inside a conference. SEC. ACC and BIG add four teams each...SEC raids the B12 for 4-6 teams. BIG raids the PAC for 6 teams. ACC takes Uccon, ND and G5 teams. Leftovers of the B12 & PAC add all the teams that can make a difference from the West and Southwest to make 18 teams.

G5 is out of the new CFP, but get their own championship.

P4 add additional requirements for all schools.

CCG become the first level of the playoffs

Rose Bowl becomes the playoff between the New Western (PAC & BIG leftovers) and BIG

Sugar bowl becomes the playoff semifinal of the SEC and ACC

Who knows...just one scenario....but they make more money this way
