At this point I really don't much care who they hire as OC because the premise for this whole mess began two years ago. We hired a staff full of coaches who had little or no experience. One of them was a high school coach at a small Texas school. He had to be coaxed away from his life in Texas and was thrust into the spotlight as one of the faces of the program and an ambassador for the school. Then it all fell apart. The coach wasn't ready for the spotlight, I hope he will still be an ambassador for the school.

Tom bears some responsibility for this and we haven't heard a word from him. He was out in front when the new staff was hired slapping backs, shaking hands and announcing a new paradigm for BYU football. Tom?.....where are you? I feel such a vacuum of leadership right now in the football program. Maybe that is what is bothering me most right now.
