Here is the Link with best deals for first-timers in January.
https://www.skiutah.com/deals/learn-to-ski-and-snowboard

If you are a Utah resident and your kid is in 5th grade or younger, you should always sign them up for the Park City Epic School Kids Pass. 5 free days (zero dollars, no fee, nothing, zilch) at PC with one all-day free group lesson, including a meal, for first-timers. You have to sign up for this in the summer, though.

Outside of the School Kids Pass, every Utah resident who is in 5th or 6th Grade should pay the $35 to get the 5th and 6th grade passport. 5th Graders get Three Days at each Utah Resort. 6th Graders get One Day at each Utah resort. Also get coupons for 1/2 price adult at Powder Mountain, one free Adult Pass to Alta.

If your daughter is in 5th grade (maybe?), its not too late to get the 5th grade passport. Not sure she is a Utah student, but if she is, it could be worth it. I think it has some deals for lessons, too, and a free rental from Ski N See, some discount rentals other places.
