suspect horrible this time. Since their ad rates are based upon viewership, I just think their revenues will take a hit. Just like they had the CFP move the semi-final games, they need to tweek the outcomes. Granted it might not happen until the end of the current contract. ESPN also has a contract with the ACC, and BIG, PAC and B12 to lesser extents. But you are certainly correct that this was set up to benefit ESPN first...they and only they were willing to put up the money to make it happen. And they said there wouldn't be any more money, so don't expect any expansion until the contract is up.
