Going through security, I realize my earbuds are in my pants pocket. I put them in a side pouch of my my backpack and send it down the x-ray belt. Backpack comes out the other side and I’m gathering my stuff and POOF!!! Earbuds gone.

I spent 5 minutes searching my bag before going back to ask TSA if the could check the belt area. They gave it a good look but no dice. I didn’t want to make a huge deal over it because they were just the $20 Skullcandy type, but honestly I’m more interested in just how the heck the things vaporized into thin air????
