Most impressive part of Ty Detmer relative to this list is
the date ranges of the top passers. Wikipedia lists everyone over 12,000 yards - which ends up being the top 32. From that list, only 2 other quarterbacks played before the year 2000, and they're both late 90s and still outside the top 20.
