Ode to Hoy All-American
My wife and I own a salon in Utah County. Some of the items that we have to consider are:
Booth Renter's payment vs Commission 1098 employees.
Salon product sales
We sublet portions of the building we lease to a Spa and massage therapist.
Equipment tax
Sales Tax
Amortization
etc...

There is more but that is some of what we work with our accountant on. The hard part is that some of these change (it feels like) year over year.

It probably seems basic to some on here, but for someone like me who is not familiar with Tax Law, I have just felt like it is has been more of a deterrent to the business and is a thorn in our side as we continue to grow.
