It was always important to the guys in the office to show off their recent kills and brag.

One guy I worked with was extra comical...

When he started he wanted to get quick street cred so he bragged about his best buddy that shot a turkey that was 60 lbs. (world record is 37.6)

Later he came across a big buck that had been hit by a car. After the forest service recorded it they told him he could keep the rack if he disposed properly of the corpse. So he had it mounted and tells everyone he shot it. He did the same thing with a duck my friend shot.

Even later he went on an elk hunt. He shot a bull but they couldn't track it down. "He knows" it died. So, he paid a taxidermist to recreate his description of the bull...
