He was exactly right. IIRC he said Steve was told he needed to change positions to stay on the staff and he told BYU to pound sand, he'd leave first. Or something to that effect. Others in that thread mentioned his wife in the Provo mayor so they didn't feel Steve was going far, probably just leaving coaching.
