I get that he was a great coach but look around.. there are many coaches as successful or more so that did it like he did like Joe Paterno and so many that do it totally different like Nick Saban. There’s also Harbaugh, Orgeron and even Mike Leach that are all successful and could not be more different in how they do almost everything. I love Lavell just like everybody else but you don’t have to be exactly like Lavell to be a good coach
