Once again, the two misses as a freshman were low percentage kicks...
They were like half court shots. His shortest attempt was 33 yards or something like that and he made it.
His only healthy year when he was "the guy" on all of the FG's, he was 21/26, which is about 80%.
Mitch Payne was 74% for his career.
Matt Payne was 64%.
Rhett Almond was 75% last year.
Jared McLaughlin was 74% over his career.
I'm not saying Justin was the greatest kicker that ever lived but he was one of our better kickers when he was healthy.
His bad health is what hurt his career specifically as a So and Jr.
