The Jazz have team options for next year on several players, including Thabo, Jerebko, and O'Neale. Each of those options have deadlines where the salary will become guaranteed for the following year, if the team does chooses not to cancel the deal prior to the deadline. Players occasionally have the same option, as Hayward did last summer when he chose to use his option and cancel the contract.
