So far the plan is to over-invest in the first year by working a couple of hours a week more than I usually would (it’s a 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM kind of company), ask a ton of questions, meet with everyone on the executive team, be authentically enthusiastic about learning the business, and learn a lot more about Illinois and Wisconsin politics as the CEO is heavily involved in that scene.
