Often these guys have under-developed physiques and unrefined talent when entering the program. Some grow into their bodies and develop skills around the hoop while others struggle to find a niche. There is also a propensity for these guys to get injured. I think Rose has done just fine with the big men he's recruited. I wouldn't say over-achieved or under-achieved, but just fine.
