The offenses at BYU when Rice was assistant generally weren't that high scoring
...until Jimmer started to hit his stride they usually were in the mid to upper mid 70's but we were better balanced I think than we are now and we paired well with our defense which was usually really good in the MWC.
Rice's last 2 yrs at BYU, As Jimmer started to hit his stride as a big time scorer (Jr & Sr years) then we eked into the low 80's scoring per game.
