Nick plays defense and creates for others. He has a little more of a shoot-first mentality than I'd like, but Emery is an energy guy who any team would want to have.

With Tavernari, he was only a streaky shooter. I was almost more disappointed when he made a shot because that meant, no matter what, he'd be jacking up some shot on his next play.

Emery has got some maturing to do, But there's no question BYU is a better team with him than without him. I think we'd be talking about a special season right now if he was right, and playing.

I'm really looking forward to the Emery, Haws, Bryant guard line next year. Best back court since Jimmer, Jackson.
