But yes by shifting the argument I did essentially concede or withdraw my initial argument about not trusting in federal or state laws. By arguing that it may be worthwhile to make federal or state laws to ban some types of abortions, I am certainly undercutting my initial argument that new federal or state laws for gun control to reduce gun violence would be futile.
