My senior year seminary teach taught some objectively offensive and wrong things. When I challenged her, which I did in a respectful way, she was dismissive and questioned my testimony of prophets and the priesthood. Like, that kind of situation could hurt a kid.
Seminary should be a place for kids to learn. It should not be a place where kids feel like they have to suck up to a teacher and conform their views to the teachers, or else risk not being admitted.
