My daughter "accidentally hurt herself" on the way upstairs at bedtime for 6
months straight. Every night. It drove me absolutely insane. Eventually we just ignored her and she stopped. I would suggest incentivizing her to participate in PE for a bit. Once you know it's not real, start ignoring her and punishing her when she fakes it at school.
