... MWC is no ACC either.
One could actually argue that, as far as fanbase goes, we are closer to being a Notre Dame than the MWC is to being an ACC/P5.
If we were never part of the MWC then I think they'd be drooling all over themselves to get a Notre Dame type deal worked out to add BYU in all sports sans Football (with or without a Football scheduling agreement).
But there's there's a history involved... and pride too (on both sides) that allows emotions to trump common financial sense.
