That’s why I get incredibly irritated at the “we can’t afford to pay more” for coaches. It’s clearly not that they can’t, it’s that they don’t want to. I was encouraged though that they opened the strings a bit to get Grimes & Co on board so hopefully things are changing.

The money is really secondary. The bigger issue is simply rubbing elbows with the P5 elite as a fellow conference
