or what? It doesn't necessarily have to be a rule of thumb. It plays more of an ignorant role because it makes you assume before looking into who each of these guys are and how ready they might actually be. It doesn't just automatically apply. We've had plenty of RMs jump right in and play. Guys are getting more and more ready. And same with kids out of HS. Who says they can't all run with D1 talent? We've had plenty do it and more and more in the future will.
Taken with a grain of salt but not just ignored. Do your due diligence and do them a service by actually looking into each individual and what they can do. I'm not going to generically treat Gunner Romney or Zach Wilson like I would treat a Chinonso Opara.
Same thing with recruiting classes. You only do a disservice if you look at it as a number instead of looking at each of the individuals, what they bring, how ready they are, if they fill an immediate need, etc.
