Have challenging kid at a similar age.Consistency in rules and enforcement helps
He can be and is still a challenge, but when he knows the rules and consequences, he usually comes around after a couple (or longer) minutes of ineffective tantrums or time out. The hardest part is when is when away from home and there isn't time for him to come around.
Just make sure to follow through on all rules. If you say no TV until you so "___", then no TV until that is completed.
