The idea and sentiment had been around long before the letter. Plus it was just a letter.
It might have been one factor of many but some of those were of Broncos own making. Or Holly’s.
Regardless, I’m glad he moved on, took a great job with amazing pay at an outstanding university. It was the right job for him at the right time regardless of every other factor. BYU Football owes him a debt of gratitude and in time he’ll get it.
Now the staff just needs to turn it around and make all this talk academic or they’ll be gone and. BYU will be searching again.
The rest is just talk.
