I was thinking about getting either a Ruger Super Redhawk (Double Action) in .44mag or .454 Casull or the Ruger Super Blackhawk (single action) in the same caliber. I'll likely scope it and then use it for javelina next year at the very least and would like to use it for larger game in the future when I am more proficient with it. Any warnings or recommendations for me? I also considered going with a Freedom Arms revolver as my parents know the owner, but they are still likely out of my price range.
