sounds like kids really need to know how to play their positions and not just do it because HS coaches say, run there, go this way and that away. Too many hand holding and not teaching WHY....

I keep hearing coaching comments that we simplify so the players don’t have to think about to many things. This allows them to fly around. 

I don’t believe we will ever recruit players skilled enough to out execute the top half of our schedule. In order to be successful we must use diverse schemes to confuse more talented opponents.
