their effort would have been worth an A in any other class. I don't teach any other class. I teach people who are entering the work force this summer and should have the ability to think and communicate before they do so. The nice thing is that quality improved after that. All they really needed was someone to tell them that they could do better, not just pat them on the back for showing up.
