If the Jazz were to tie for first place of the Midwest Division, but lose the season series between the other team they tied with, they would be considered the Midwest 2nd place team. So how is Utah considered a Co-Champion, and then hangs up a banner, when they lost the tie breaker and UCLA played in the Pac 12 championship game? Heck, they were not ever the 3rd best record in the the Pac 12 conference, but they were the 2nd best team in 1/2 of the Pac 12 conference, so I guess that is worthy of a banner. BYU should hang up a banner for winning the Western Independent Championship for the years that BYU had the 2nd best record of the Independents, and we should hang up an Independent National Champions banner, for the year that we beat out all of the other independent teams, and had the best record

As for Utah and Colorado being invited into the Pac 12, would Utah fans please admit that the truth, and recognize that it was literally to appease the 2 states, whose senators and Attorney Generals were threatening anti-trust lawsuits against the former BCS, and their lack of a playoff system? Who were the 2 main Attorney Generals leading the charge? The main ones on the lawsuit, were ex-AG Shurtleff, and the Attorneys General from Colorado, Texas, Hawaii, and Idaho. Hawaii and Boise St get invited to a BCS bowl, and out of nowhere, the BCS starts talking how a playoff system is the right way to go.
