After being built up as a wow guy, when he sees the field his performance is underwhelming. Sure he had 1 good catch but he dropped balls and didn’t separate during games.

At that point you have to say give another younger guy a chance. You ask where can he help us? The db’s say hey! He is an athlete, let’s see how it goes.

My guess is that he was told that he was off of the 105 and on the 125 so he is leaving.

He might just quit football. It is his senior year after all
