Fine, but am I wrong?
The movie was panned by critics and many because of that long scene. Some saw the political agenda, others (like myself) just didn't see any chemistry with Rose and Finn and the entire plot that pretty much almost destroyed the Resistance.
I really enjoyed TFA, loved Rogue One, and am looking forward to the Han Solo movie. I just think that the Last Jedi could hav ebeen so much better, but it wasn't. Its the same level of disappointment I have from watching Episodes 1 and 2.
EDIT: panned by audiences the Critics seemed to love it.

Who cares about the political agenda. It was just a dumb 45 min scene that did nothing to enhance the story or plot.

Integral for character development for Finn. Prior to going to Canto Byte he was only concerned with saving himself and

Meh, it was a ridiculously long scene, and those lessons easily could have been learned in other ways.
