BYU's defense were on the field for basically an average amount of plays last year, compared
to the rest of the nation. Being tired due to offensive ineptitude is an invalid excuse for the defense.

I don't think KS knows what he wants. Last year on the talk shows he acted like

He is only the HC, why should he know whats going on?

I must’ve missed the tough defense last year

It is strange to me that people didn't want Ken N. because of the triple option.

I don't like the triple option because I think it has a low ceiling.

Agreed. And it's a death spiral. You can't recruit good QB's and WR's into that

Both of these arguments are the only valid ones I have ever heard on this topic

It has nothing to do with boring. It has everything to do with system.

I love the triple option. Of course, I love any offense run well.

Isn't Ken N. Making a lot more money at Navy?

Yeah, Navy doubled his salary when they thought he was going to BYU...

If true, multiple four and outs don't lead to a rested defense. They were gassed

It's not invalid. It may not tell the whole story, but it is certainly a part

Except the defense gave up huge yards in the 1st quarter all year long.

How long has it taken mentor Whit to figure out the offense he wants?

If BYU's offense scores and has success Kalani won't say a word

The quarterback factory brand of old is gone and should not be the focus.

I'm fine with that offense. But QB is still a huge recruiting strength for BYU.

Totally agree. We should continue with that advantage. I just don't think
