48-team World Cup
How will FIFA organize it? My suggestion:
- 8 Groups of 6 teams
- Round Robin play (each team gets 5 games)
- Top three teams advance from each Group
- #1 teams from each Group get a 1st round bye
- #2 teams play #3 teams from another Group for 2nd round birth
- 2nd Rounds lead to Quarters lead to Semis lead to Final
