That would have made my kids 6, 11, and 13 at the time. Visited the city, rode the tram to Table Top Mountain, went on a safari, drove the garden route, they got to experience a township (during the day), attended church in a small branch, hung out with a bunch of monkeys, rode elephants, etc.
