He did and said all the wrong things while leading BYU into the abyss. I didn't love Bronco, but I at least admired his loyalty to his players and coaches. Bronco did not publicly trash his coaches like Sitake. In my book, Sitake will never live that down. He's a guy who seems more afraid of not being liked than he is not being a winner - shortsighted in too many ways.
