was hit with the speed trap going 5 over when I crossed over from Idaho. Ticketed. In shock, I pulled over to get some gas, and they wouldn't let me get it myself of course. On the way home I'm going the speed limit and I come up on a cop in the right hand lane doing about 3 under the speed limit. I had cruise control on and so I just got over in the left lane and passed him going the speed the limit. He pulled me over. Warned. He then said "never pass a cop, that's where you went wrong." This was like being in Russia.

I was never so happy to cross back over into Idaho in my life.

I now have a good idea why Oregon drivers are slow. I can't blame them.
