I rent cars for work every week. As much I want to trust mirrors, I still look

out of habit since I drive many different cars.

I agree and have my mirrors set up correctly on this car. Just a habit that hasn’t cause problems in 25 years of driving and probably wouldn’t have made a difference today.

I will say that I like the rentals I have with the blind spot notifications. Flip the signal and if a car is anyway near you on the blindspots, you get a nice beep and warning.
