Herriman and Bingham have a love-hate relationship. The teams used to get together and do a pre-season banquet and talent show when Dave Peck was still their coach. (Peck lived in Herriman and he liked our boys to know they didn't need to TP his house all the time).

Herriman and East have a Hate-Hate relationship. It started in 2012 with the UHSAA changed the playoff schedule and forced Herriman to play East.

East came to that game and trashed the Herriman lockerrooms. When they shook hands after the game each East player told the Herriman boys to F-off (some spitting was involved). Even with all the cops it was hard to hold the kids back.

East has changed since then (They pull kids from both Herriman and Bingham each year). But the Hate between the two teams still stands. You will never see a little kid in Herriman wearing a High School musical shirt 🙂

PS. The new high school in Herriman will be the end of a great decade run for the Mustangs. It opens in 2020 and will change both Herriman and Bingham going forward.
