We don't HAVE to be a program that has to roll the dice on people with limited experience. It's a high risk/reward approach....hoping to find the next Lavell when he is cheap and hold on to him. Not saying that can't work, but like I said, high risk/reward. We are suffering from the risk side of that equation right now. Kalani made a rookie head coach move to hire the fan favorite as OC, extending the high risk/high reward dice roll to the coordinator level. It didn't work out. Here is to hoping it's only up from here and we start to realize some of the reward.
