They are, and they are not. This year he doesn’t need 9 wins to “right the ship,”
but over time, I think righting the ship would include consistent 9+ win seasons. That doesn’t mean every season is at least 9 wins, but getting them consistently.
However, consistent 9+ seasons would indicate that he righted the ship, so in that sense they are the same.
