You'll have to rephrase that first part, but i think it's fair to say that with byu and their foreseeable future, any coach could right the ship in a decent way but still not crank out 9 every year. Not with byu's resources and schedules.
I think you could see a pretty healthy program that goes forward with a 9 win season somewhere, a 10 win, a 7 win plenty of 8s. Even that might be hard going forward because that's basically the 2nd half of Bronco's career.
I think a healthy program being run fairly well, and winning like that going forward are two different things. IOW for the poll i could believe one but not necessarily the other and it could still make sense.
