Um yeah..Spurs would be morons. Makes him harder to trade + they don't want him.
What really makes it strange is that Kawhis team says he will only play in LA. Why would LA want to pay him 30 million more? They'll wait it out.
Plus no other team would trade for him on that contract if he already says he's leaving after a year. They don't want a cancer on their team that refuses to play on the books for that much.
