open space, fine, and we can probably give you a raise due to the space savings.  But you better match private-office productivity.  Or for the guy who needs privacy, maybe he foregoes a raise the next year to pay for it.  Fine.

Don't understand why companies can't be flexible and match employee needs on a case basis, rather than "one-size-fits-all".  So tired of that mentality.  Such a low-productivity approach to the workspace.
