I'll never understand

Byu is excellent and super holy, and Utah is so bad/evil and has such a lousy culture. I am not Mormon; I like the LDS church and their willingness to help the state. They make downtown, and in return, that benefits the UoU. What's a mystery to me is the idea that Utah football is the wild west. Football brings rough guys to every locker room in the country. Look at last years dismissals from the Y. Mormons run Utah football... 2/3 biggest influencers the HC/DC are Mormon... You guys act like Anti-Mormon jerks run it. The UoU has a lot more diversity on its team and less RMs, but they aren't lesser people. You cannot compare Utah to Byu because Utah isn't playing by your rules or values. Get off your high horse and understand Utah is different and that's ok. If an LDS athlete wants to go to a place where there's no swearing, the train of thought is the same, many teammates are also married, etc. excellent. When they get to the NFL or the Job market, then they'll be introduced to different methods of thought and values.

Admittedly I don't understand baptism culture, but I think it was Brian Blecken that had the baptism issue. You're a religious school, and people don't understand your religion and are going to tease. Just because a Mormon or non-Mormon does such an act doesn't mean the 99 other guys are bad.

I stand by my comment. More guys have figured out that the Y isn't the mecca of an LDS athlete anymore and I think it's more and more clear. Stanford, USC, Washington, and Utah are gobbling up LDS kids.
