I have very little faith in the subjective judgment of 'expert' bureaucrats.

I have much more faith in objective criteria.

When my daughter took a test in second grade to see if she qualified for ALL she was 99th percentile on every objective test, but she scored poorly on the subjective evaluation of her 30 minute essay about a penguin. So they initially rejected her application.
