UT when I got my grad degree from BYU, got a job in UT and tried to get transferred out but it never happened. So we've stayed (quite happily) in UT. I'd probably only move to Virginia. Not really because we live UT THAT much but I doubt I find much more than a lateral move anywhere else. Lateral to VA would be fine due to family/living there before. My non-mormon friends almost all live in the same towns (or close) that I knew them in. I think it's actually more common, in some ways, that Mormons at least try to leave UT (even if they return). Most of my friends elsewhere never even tried to leave their state ( even to just cross the river and live in OR)
