and unique pronunciations.

I read an article a few years ago with a professor of linguistics from BYU who studies that stuff and he talked about the Utah centric pronunciations but also showed some odd way's of saying things from all parts of the country. It was pretty interesting.

But the point is that is not something you can simply criticize and make fun of Utahn's about since just about every singe place in the country has their own peculiarities in that same regard.
