simply mediocre. They aren't even in the same league of suckiness.

I wasn't impressed with the D last year, but Tuiaki did very well in 2016 so a step back in 2017 wasn't a big deal...

Ty went from mediocre with two all time greats at QB and RB to worse than any time in modern history...

Big difference.

It's not a defense of the defense. It's condemning the offense for the worst play we have seen in over 40 years.
